Fortuna Gaming Corporation [FGAM] was launched in 2005 as a publicly traded company on the OTCBB, intent on entering the online gaming sector through the acquisition of technology. In mid-2006, the company changed its direction from acquiring gaming technology to licensing gaming technology.

As reported in the March 11, 2008 10QSB, the enactment of legislation in the US prohibiting or otherwise restricting the use of electronic payment processing of online bets from US citizens, management has had to reassess the long term strategy of continuing online gaming efforts or to entertain other business initiatives.

May 2008 : Management has been focusing its efforts towards raising funds to pay down debt, restructure its operations and pursue other business opportunities, joint ventures and acquisitions.

Management

Mr. Richard Von Raffay, President : Mr. Von Raffay joined the company in October, 2006. Mr. Von Raffay has a Master of Business Administration from Hamburg University for Economics and Politics and studied management economics and law at the University of Hamburg. During his long and esteemed career Mr. Von Raffay has acted as the Managing Director of Hanseatische Commodity und Capital GmbH, and as Senior Corporate Finance Advisor at Eutelis GmbH Ratingen, subsidiary of Deutsche Telekom and France Telekom.

May 2008 : The company is in the process of instituting a new management team.
